Grateful for Life and grateful to be in USA
I am an African, recently moved
to USA. I know I save money by making sure I continue meeting my scheduled
medical check-ups. It is advisable to have atleast one health check a year or
once every 12 months.A medical/health check-up is a thorough physical exam including a variety of tests depending on presented complaint, age, sex and health of a person. A medical check-up has its advantage: it helps find problems before they start; help find problems earlier when the chances for treatment bring early cures; it helps one keep a healthier and longer life.
We all need to schedule appointments
for medical check-ups. The following areas are opportunities for us to know
about our bodies:

check up at the nearest hospital. Make your life count by going for these

Responsible Citizenship OR Conduct Support Tips
Hey, you did have this desire to
make it in USA. You hear all these social-politico statements made at
Presidential, Senatorial, Congress, gubernatorial and local council levels. You
do want to understand what is going on. The President of the United States and
the entire US Government are doing everything to make USA a leading country in
the world. Leading in what, you may ask!
We have a saying in Africa; a
home is said to be great depending on how well a passing traveler is provided
water to quench a thirst. Immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking
are such a category any nation that aspires to be great needs to welcome and
whose thirst it needs to quench.
USA is a country where, beginning with your
documentation, one can continue pursuing happiness, where through both civil
society and government departments one can seek out an office to present an
issue for intervention, one can have their health insurance, where your
maternity needs are taken care of, where your gender issues are taken care of, where
systems are in place to have you fed, clothed, skilled and housed.
All it takes is to know your
condition, know which office best serves your need and get time to navigate the
system. Networks and partnerships are a very good way to explore and map needs.
This block or constituency makes it easy for targeted services to be planned
and provided.
Uganda New England Society is a
platform that continues to provide knowledge to support informed decision-making
in a first world. It is a network, knowledge hub and linkage between providers
and those served.
